September Songs

What songs have you listened in this September?

In this post, I just want to share three songs which insert “September” in their titles (and become my favorite too).

1-September by Daughtry

“…Of all the things I still remember
Summer’s never looked the same
The years go by and time just seems to fly
But the memories remain

In the middle of September we’d still play out in the rain
Nothing to lose but everything to gain
Reflecting now on how things could’ve been
It was worth it in the end…”

2-Wake Me Up When September Ends by Green Day

“…as my memory rests
but never forgets what I lost
wake me up when September ends

summer has come and passed
the innocent can never last
wake me up when September ends

ring out the bells again
like we did when spring began
wake me up when September ends…”

3-September by Adhitia Sofyan

“I met you in the city of the fall
One September night
We sat down on the table near the wall
Where conversation flows

I wonder if I could stay for a while, you see
Its been a while since I felt this way
But, we both now time is closing in
Till I’ll be gone
You’ll be too
On that night I saw you walked away
(On that night I let you walked away)

I left you in the city of the lights
That breeze September night
We walk down the road to the end
I wished the time stood still”

Are there more songs about September? Looking forward to it…
